Distribute the general static survey link without e-mail addresses

  • Situation: You do not have the e-mail addresses of the participants or you do not want or are not allowed to use them. You want to reach the participants via e-mail distribution lists or social media.
  • Cons: The participants cannot be reminded individually. It cannot be 100% guaranteed that participants will not participate more than once, as no personal token is used. The participants cannot interrupt the survey and continue it much later.

Send personal survey links with e-mail addresses

  • Situation: You have the e-mail addresses of the participants and may use them (set up privacy policy).
  • Advantages: By using personal survey links, participants can only take part once and can interrupt and resume the survey at will. It is possible to write to individual participants several times, e.g. to remind them to participate.
  • Requirements: It is advisable to set up a privacy policy and to inform about the careful handling of e-mail addresses (storage, deletion, etc.).

Without e-mail addresses at the beginning of the questionnaire Ask for e-mail address and start with personal survey link

  • Situation: You do not have the e-mail addresses of the participants or you do not want or are not allowed to use them. You want to reach the participants via e-mail distribution lists or social media. The questionnaire is very long and should be able to be interrupted and continued later. You want to be able to remind the participants personally of their participation.
  • Advantages: Initially, you do not need the e-mail addresses of the participants and collect them at the beginning of the survey. The participants can be reminded individually. Participants can interrupt the survey and continue it later.
  • Cons: It cannot be 100% guaranteed that participants will not participate more than once, because a personal token is not used from the beginning.
  • Principle:
  1. The participants call up the questionnaire via the general static link that they have received, for example via an e-mail distribution list or social media.
  2. The participants enter an e-mail address at the beginning of the survey and start the survey.
  3. QUAMP will add the e-mail addresses of the participants to a classic invitation message. The participants receive an e-mail with their personal survey link, which can be used to resume the survey after an interruption.
  4. The participants can be reminded by means of the generated invitation message.

Sending personal reminder messages

Personal reminder messages can only be sent if personal invitation links have been shipped. In the screencast I show you how to create several reminder messages, which can be on the other hand, be sent automatically at a certain time.
